It’s time for a cool change

Hello friends!

I have some exciting news to share with you as well as a new approach to tackling the confusing, and sometimes overwhelming world we call wellness. For the past four years I have been undertaking a transformation. In 2019 I set out on a quest to see what difference I could make in the lives of those that I work with by combining the two big issues that face us now and in our later years – our health and our wealth.

Three years of training in the health and wellness area later, I have a plan. An idea that I hope will take some of the angst out of the world of wellness. See, what I have discovered is that most people take an ad-hoc approach to their wellness. There is no plan, there is just hope that this product, this pill, this fitness program will be that magical thing that turns your health around and makes you feel better. But like what we have seen in the financial world, no one product can be the total solution. It can be a part of the solution, but it is never THE only solution. But unlike the financial world where you can find a fiduciary advisor (or financial planner) to help you pull the pieces together and build a plan for your financial future, it is not common place to find unbiased help in building an all-encompassing plan for your wellness future.

My intention is to change that. I want to help you design a better, healthier life – today and in your future. To do so though, you need to plan for it. This is where Design Your Wellness Strategy comes in. Based on the success and confidence seen by those who create a financial plan and follow it, I use this same methodology to help you plan for better wellness in all areas of your life. By working together to help you uncover what wellness means, looks, and feels like to you, we create your own wellness plan. A plan that will help you focus your wellness goals into actionable steps that you want to take because you designed them. Now you will have a focused approach to your overall well-being and will have intentional steps to take toward building a life of health and longevity.

And the best thing is – I am not selling you a product to pop, shake, or move to! Instead, together we’ll figure out what you need in terms of wellness products and/or programs to help you meet your goals, then we’ll go find what fits best into your life. Making your plan customized to you so you are more likely to follow it.

For those in the financial world, this might make the most sense – I am taking a fiduciary approach to your well-being. Let’s sit down and figure out what is important to you, what your life looks like, what you know about your health and well-being, what steps you want to take, and the ones you are willing to follow, then we’ll find the product, program, or approach that fits best for you to help you realize your wellness goals. One step at a time.

With 20 + years in the financial services industry, and several designations to quantify my training in financial education, coaching, and planning, I now add two more certifications in health and wellness coaching, ADAPT Certified Functional Health Coach (A-CFHC) and the National Board Certification in Health and Wellness Coaching (NBC-HCW). I take my education seriously because I want to provide the best possible information to my clients. But most importantly, I want to help you succeed and be healthy!

There is so much more to come, and I invite your curiosity and questions. So stay tuned, if anything, I hope you will walk away with a different way to approach and tackle your own wellness objectives.
